Well, after our exciting night of thinking baby bean was coming, we had a few days to enjoy Mimi's company anyway! Nothing more happened during the rest of the week, and now nothing more through the weekend either... must have just been a freak thing, but it was just so nearly identical to how labor started with Emma Kate, I just can't believe it stopped like that! Anyway, now surely we'll be gun-shy...
After Mimi left on Saturday, we finally got motivated to process the pears from our tree... Emma Kate was a big helper peeling the pears, and she took it upon herself to sample one as well. They actually turned out pretty nice! We managed to get them all processed, now just to plan out how to use them down the road!
We had a great time with some Hokie friends Saturday evening after the football game, and Emma Kate had a lot of fun! There were 5 other kids there, and Emma Kate enjoyed watching them, playing with the corn hole sets with them, and walking around the campground. Lots of fun! She even stayed awake for the ride home and went to bed very easily! :)
We had a lot of fun outside today (and the last few days too- it has been gorgeous weather!) and Emma Kate was getting really silly on her slide, she had so much fun, she kept running around it and doing the same silly stuff over and over. A video should be posted above if I can get it to work!
Here are some pictures from the last several days...
